The label “World Line” is a bit confusing. It seems that “World Line” is a dot or moment and not a “line thingy”.
Is it not more suitable to call it “World Moment”?

MM

No. Are you willing to rewrite over 7000 articles with your preferred terminology, without bothering to research WHY it is called a world-line in the first place? Hum?

By the way, McDonalds’s is such a silly name. I think that it would be better served to rename it “Cheap and fast burgers”. Don’t you? Or, The same goes for Starbucks. It should be renamed “expensive coffee in a good atmosphere”. Yeah. That should do it. Uh huh!
Maybe Oh, and let’s not forget Microsoft. I strongly believe that it should be renamed “expensive spying boatware – your intimate connection to Uncle Sam”.

World-line is the term derived because when you instigate a slide and lock into a template the garbons are affixed to the template associated to that entry world-line point. Thus coloring the entire experience as if it is indeed a world-line.
The consciousness experiences the new environment just like one of those science fictiony “world-lines” like in the movie “Back to the future”.
As always on MM, illustrative venues are used for conceptional explanations, but it is the visceral experiences that one has that give the experiences mean. Not the conceptual understandings.

Questions are good. But we don’t dwell too much on the theory here. Instead, we apply the knowledge to our individual lives.

Maybe I’ll have better understanding after I’d experience a “slide”. For now it’s all conceptual understanding.

Thanks for the explanation.

MM

It’s ok. Be careful. A slide is not for casual concern. Once you start performing slides you will need to maintain your campaigns for the rest of your life or you will regress back to your pre-birth world-line template, for good or bad.
